The University of Zakho Visited HZDR Center in Germany

On behalf of the University of Zakho, Dr. Lokman Aziz Abdulkareem, Dean of the Collage of Engineering, visited Helmholtz Zentrum Rossendurf (HZDR), a renowned research center in Dresden/Germany from 16th -23rd of April, 2018 during which meetings have been held with the key members of the center and European Committee members as well. The visit aimed at creating stronger ties with the center in the areas of academic related collaborations and engaging in different kinds of activities, such as: joint research projects, staff training courses, student exchange and fellowship programs, summer school, workshops, research grants especially laboratory facilities. It is hoped that there will be a number of near future students and staff training courses in the upcoming summer.
